Tsusak at Haba

Well its near the end of September and that means Tsusak (Thanksgiving) season for the Korean way of life. As prevalent as the piles of spam, packages of rice cakes and poorly wrapped bottles of imported liquor were signs of a traditional Korea that has been absent since we've been here. Particularly entertaining was the transformation of our students from little deviants to miniature icons of Korean pride. As you can see from the pictures their outfits where the highlight of the day as we walked around the school shooting photos of the kids, stealing cake and watching them participate in traditional games. Days like these remind us how fun it can be here teaching English in Korea.

Our Boss Don and his son who is in Jolene's class.

This kid is Dong-Yeon, gives me (David) some of the funniest lines of any in the class. He is also the one of the biggest trouble maker.

You have made my day. I worked until 4:20am last night, and seeing this blog has reminded me why I love this job. The picture with all of the kids hugging David just warmed my heart. The children are so innocent, and affectionate, and are allowed to act like kids.

Wonderful work on the blog so far, please keep it up, since Aggie and I will be reading it often.
